After failing my DMV eye test, and having to take an unplanned trip to the eye doctor to get my eyes checked. I realize now I have put off getting a new pair of glasses for far too long. Its been 7 years since my last pair was lost, due to my back pack getting stolen out of my old truck. Getting glasses is nothing new to me, Ive had them since I was 6. But I never really paid attention to how much detail Ive been missing. How can I call myself an artist if I can't see to put all the detail into my work? I feel like its just a crime when an artist starts loosing their sight like Monet. He did several works of art of a bridge at different times of the day, and times of the year just to see how the light played with the contrasts.
